This style has proven very popular with corporate and business clients, for whom I often work on projects that involve reportage & location photography as well as portraiture.
Creating a body of work for report, brochure, web site and marketing collateral.

Photographing in a reportage style I have been commissioned by constructional and industrial clients that include Carillion, Tubelines, The Construction Industry Training Board, Bovis and Thames Water.
Working in construction and industry is always a challenge which is why as a professional editorial photographer I am aware of the action happening in front of me, unfolding and evolving continuously with little time to stop or pose anyone.

Shoots have ranged from celebrity portraits that include John Lydon, George Harrison and Barbara Cartland to working with Gordon Ramsey, shooting a theatrical production in Greece and feature, motoring, property and editorial stories for The Daily Telegraph.
There is not much that I have not tackled over the years. I plan to publish some of my early editorial photography here as negatives from my archive are scanned.
I work proactively, drawing on my ability to shoot around changing scenes and situations to create a body of work as well as stand alone “iconic” imagery.
I am highly experienced working on location for a wide variety of clients.
Editorial photography highlights the business you run, it shows clients, shareholders dn the public who you are and act you do.
Being able to draw out the best imagery from any business is what I do from workers & staff to locations, site scenes, portraits and more all in natural real life editorial photography.
Working together we make your business come alive with exciting imagery from any location. Make the best of your assets, show off your location and staff and develop prominence in your sector with high quality photography.
Lesley Heath, Brand Manager, CITB-ConstructionSkills.
“Stephen spent time listening to and interpreting the requirements for the project to re-vitalise our photography library.
He then translated this into an approach which has resulted in a transformed look to the brand image of CITB-ConstructionSkills. Stephen was great to work with, always had solutions to issues and didn’t bat an eyelid at the number of miles he had to cover to complete the project!
Thank you Stephen, it would be great to work with you again in the future.”
Jo Mills – Head of Marketing, The Royal Agricultural College
“He remains a pleasure to work with, understanding and fulfilling all the briefs that I set him”.
Chris Shipway – Thames Water.
“I have been particularly impressed with his ability to relax his subjects, and produce strong pictures in situations that do not immediately lend themselves to one”
I also run photographic lessons, tutorials, workshops and study sessions open to all at www.photoguru.uk. If you want to shoot like a pro just get in touch and I can guide you through any aspect of photography from technical knowledge to improving your creativity.
